RCS Company presents GPS/GPRS-solution for the fuel tanker that enables to control:
- fuel level in the tank;
- hatch tanker opening; opening/closing of fuel dispensing box of the tanker;
- location and speed of movement;
- fuel level in the fuel tank of the vehicle;
- movement of the vehicle in safe mode, using speed, acceleration sensors (accelerometer).
The following equipment is installed on the tanker: GPS tracker, fuel level sensor EPSILON® EZ, fuel tanker hatch and fuel dispensing box of the tanker opening sensor, RFID card reader, switching and low-voltage intrinsic safety units. Information about the location, position as well as data from the sensors installed is transmitted through the GPS / GSM tracker to the fleet management system. Those data are presented in the form of a report indicating the location, time of hatches opening, identification of the drivers responsible for the transportation, volume of discharged and filled up fuel in the tank. The system also enables to control the safety of transportation, by means of tracing fuel fluctuations in the fuel tank and informing about the danger of flipping. Additionally, the dispatcher through the speed and acceleration sensors (accelerometer), can control speed limits of the fuel tanker.
All fuel sensors installed in the tanker have intrinsic safety construction (0 EX ia IIB T6 Ga). All intrinsic safety units (part of the sensor) additionally have electronic galvanic isolation. It provides the highest protection degree of power circuits and noise immunity.
